One of the well-known miracles of Jesus during His Galilean ministry is the healing of the Gadarene demon-possessed man which is mentioned in the synoptic gospels.
Jesus and His disciples had just entered the heart of the kingdom of darkness, which is part of the Decapolis; the eastern side of the lake where the Pagans lived, the Galilee of the Gentiles that Isaiah talked about.
What did Jesus have in mind when he went there?
