Jericho & The Temptation of Jesus (36:00)

The city of Jericho was prosperous back at that time due to many factors; Its fertile land, its location along the ancient road that pilgrims took to Jerusalem during winter, and the farming of the Balsam perfumes which was the most expensive perfume of the Roman world.

Now Jericho was shut up inside and outside because of the people of Israel. None went out, and none came in. ( Joshua 6:1)
